Industries in Shizuoka Prefecture
Shizuoka Prefecture is divided into four main areas: the central, western, eastern, and Izu regions. Historically, Shizuoka has been known for its strong craft culture, starting when Tokugawa Ieyasu invited artisans from Edo period to build the Sengen Shrine.
